Single but not Alone

'Single but not alone' is the text behind this statue of Wilhelmina, former queen of The Netherlands and grandma of the present queen Beatrix, who is to step down on the 30th this month.

Today I passed by from this statue and framed it in a picture. It spoke to me and a little later I knew why; a friend's mom had passed away after a week of feeling low and being ready to let go. The text and statue remind me of this dear lady who knew me for decades and I her.
