Had to drop a friend into work this morning,lovely place just by the river. Went for a quick stroll,and for the first time in several years came across two water voles. Busy nest building in a hole of the old mill. The pair seemed to have great hearing but poor eye sight. Marvellous creatures,good luck to them.
