Not the most stimulating work day but J was here for the morning and lunch and we spent time talking about the difficult situation with L’s father, and his imminent discharge from hospital with inadequate support from the health service. The Kent service seems so much less caring than here in Sussex. No easy answers to offer J but hopefully he knows we will support in any way we can. In the evening spent some time trying to sort out my Mum’s old photos and this one of her Dad impressed me albeit it’s not in great condition. Joe, her Dad, was a handsome man. I was very close to him as a young child and spent many years after he died wishing he was still around.
