Sad Wok

Supported the community cinema again (only 400 yards away) and Brown Dog managed two and a half hours on her own which was a first. Left a machine recording her (as well as toys and tricky treats) and no audible despair.
Cooked in my wok tonight. I have had it for years but, sadly, the glass lid shattered on the floor six months ago.  I have been unable to get a new lid, other lidded new woks are smaller and are non-stick ( I prefer the comfort of pure metal. 
I shall continue to haunt kitchen shops.
