Signs of Spring

I took Pepper out for her afternoon walk when the light was still good but fading.  I popped the 25mm lens on the camera and set it to manual focus (for practice).  I also made sure I had highlights & shadows, focus peaking and histogram showing through the viewfinder - those all help a lot.  The aconites were out in Hulcott churchyard plus a few snowdrops; I focussed on the aconites in the centre of a patch so all others are out of focus. 

Camera Club meeting this evening with a talk by Chris Upton on Essential Composition, so I should have noticeably improved for tomorrow's blip.  Maybe!
