Gnatcatcher
A Blue-gray Gnatcatcher to be more precise. It's a winter resident here in Florida, although a year-round resident population resides in South Florida. They dine mostly on insects and will often beat larger insects against a branch before consuming. On occasion they'll visit the BarkButter feeders. I love Audubon's description of their song, "...a thin, musical warble. Call note a distinctive, whining pzzzz, with a nasal quality."
This little cutie was flitting around a swampy area at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens this morning.
