Caller number nine in the queue

That's me at the moment, trying to get an appointment for a blood test. I was number eleven when I dialed in 20 minutes ago so if call answering is roughly linear and my maths is correct I have at least an hour to go, likely more. I'm retired and I can spend a happy time on blipfoto perusing the amazing photography whilst I wait but for most people it must be amazingly frustrating.
