Permuteran beach

a backblip yet again
Had internet for a little while yesterday and then lost connection again. We drove down the mountain from Munduk to Permuteran on the north coast of Bali.

We are staying in a very luxurious beach front hotel - no big spiders, thankfully - called Adi Assri hotel. It has two pools in which the girls spent most afternoon. We rented snorkeling gear (we have a snorkeling trip planned) and tried the equipment in the sea. The girls are naturals (not surprising considering the time they spend in the swimming pool each week).

This photo is taken on the beach when we were walking over to fellow blippers Katherine (the Diva) Max (Ellis), Gulliver and Zebedee. Gulliver expertly showed Abbie and Pippa around in the turtle nursery. We had drinks at their resort and dinner at ours (for the burgers on the menu). Great evening, Katherine and I met at pre-natal classes in Teddington (UK) and there's only a day difference between Gulliver and Pippa's birthdays! Imagine, meeting old UK friends on the other side of the world!
