2022 Monday — Friends at the Inn

Our friends, Tom & Joy, are in Cayucos for a brief stay so we managed to align our schedules and enjoyed dinner together at the Inn at Morro Bay.

We had not seen them since enjoying dinner with them at their Cayucos home in mid-December right before we made our exit to SoCal for the Christmas holiday.

So it was fun to catch-up with them. Their other home and their church is in the San Fernando Valley. They are both retired; he had a long career with IBM and she was an RN. Their son and daughter-in-law are high school teachers and live here in Cayucos with Tom & Joy’s two high school age grandsons.

We had a lot of fun during dinner and then afterward we headed to their house for awhile and our pups, Chloe & Mitzi, got to go in the house too and meet “Lucy,” Tom & Joy’s pup. Their house is immediately in front of ours, but down the hill two streets; we can see their roof from our place.

This was a great way to end January.
