Clementine and Almond Syrup Cake
Very unusual for me to spend a whole day indoors but it was very wet and blowing a gale, so it felt good to light the fire, make a hearty soup, enjoy conversation with our guests, print out some photos and generally bimble about. Rachel made this exceedingly good cake to take over to freespirals, our contribution for supper, it's from the Yotam Ottolenghi cook book 'Jerusalem'. We have made a number of recipes from this book now and they have all been delicious!
