Absolutely ****** Splendid

Mum wanted to see Cannes and Nice today, so the two of us set out on the short road trip.

Largely wet.

As we drove the weather deteriorated and after a short walk along the sea-front the rain set in for the day.

Now, to be fair to the South of France, this was the only bad day of our holiday, but it was by far the worst day.

Still twelve degrees warmer than Scotland, though!
