A Waiting Game

The plumber came back today and has replaced the faulty cistern on our toilet. He said he would be with us 'this afternoon' but wouldn't give a time, so I didn't get in the shower after my bike ride, and I was just really hanging around waiting until they arrived about half past three or so.

We had Rufus shut in the living room with all amenities (food, water, litter tray) so that the rest of the house could be open and ventilated but he couldn't get at Bonnie and attack her. We had all the windows partly open and I gave the plumber a mask when he arrived which I hope he wore when I was out of sight. Bugger covid.
 
It felt like the whole day was spent waiting but at least it's done. Flushing with no leaks, yeah!
