Daffodils in windowsill planters

I didn't make it to the allotment today - this week is looking like one of the busiest since the Christmas break and I doubt I'll get a chance to do much on the plot, except go down to drop off compost. 

I hate when work keeps me away from the plot but luckily there's a bit of gardening to do at home too: when I watered the windowsill planters for the first time in weeks, I noticed all the daffodils I planted have come up, which is great! And the pansy seedlings have grown a bit too. We should have a nice spring display soon.
