Great Tit plus a couple of others

The cloudless blue sky made it very easy to spot the crow and the magpie sitting on the topmost branches of their respective trees. The view from up there must be amazing.

Plenty of activity at the two main bird feeding areas ….. wonder why the wee birds don’t come to my bird feeders :-((  I chose the Great Tit for today as I haven’t had a decent photo for ages.

A mammoth clearing up operation is taking place in Pollok Park in preparation for the reopening of The Burrell Collection in March. Much returfing and today the Friends of Pollok Park were clearing some of the wild purple rododendrons which have taken over some areas. Just wonder if they haven’t gone a bit too far …….. it is a country park after all.
