Gadwall

Rather blustery, rather chilly but blue skies to start the week off, so we headed to Hyde Hall for a little wander for the first time in a couple of weeks!

Not much about birdie wise, but nice to see lots of snowdrops beginning to show as well as the hellebores! Spotted a couple of Gadwalls on one of the ponds, in amongst the geese, which was nice to see as not seen them there before.  Then I got 'mugged' by 2 robins and a blackbird in the courtyard garden who must have sensed I had some peanuts in my bag so had to crumble those up and distribute those to ease their hunger pains!

Last day of my 30 day yoga program today and it's been a real joy to be part of.  Now to carry on the good work through February!
