Pareidolia

Pareidolia: the tendency to perceive a specific, often meaningful image in a random or ambiguous visual pattern ( thanks Talpa)
As far as I can make out, it’s seeing an image in things like cloud patterns, wood etc so I guess it can also apply to waves.
It strikes me that the wave on the right looks like a rather amorphous skeletal figure emerging from the depths at Fraserburgh harbour this morning.
It’s beginning to calm down after a pretty horrible weekend of storms.
