Disinfection wipes

It's rather doubtful that I will be here in 20 years time, but I'm hoping these kind of wipes won't be in any case. I would put these in a time capsule today, as a reminder of the weird times we live in. I have packets of these at home and in the car, to use to wipe down hands, supermarket trolleys etc. I find them very convenient right now but they are certainly a symptom of how we value ease over the environment. These wipes contain plastic, won't disintegrate, block sewers... But taking wet washable cloths with disinfectant with us everywhere is not quite so easy and means more planning, more washing ...  I'm hoping that in 20 years time the general idea will be that the interests of this earth on which we live with its finite resources definitely will top mankind's interests of always having more with more ease, but we'll have to start right away. Wishful thinking ?
