Timing

I will be first to admit this photo is less than stellar, and that is being kind.

I have wanted a fire all day today. Almost started it at twilight and even sunset. Instead, I made myself wait. Darkness would be best.

Indeed, it was.

Reminded me of fires in the southwest and the warmth, even after a warm day, felt inviting.

I miss home. Dearly.

I do believe, if I can do it, patience will serve me best and be my reward. Timing is everything.
