Dyeing
Pleased to have another bright morning in the park and some improvement in Paisley (other than when we turned a corner straight into a Jack Russell!). We’ve arranged to meet V and her son’s dog in the field next weekend to gradually try and get Paisley to stop reacting so much to other dogs. We’ll see!
Home and nipped to the supermarket again to get bread flour and some more hair dye for A (the quest for the right shade of pink continues!)
In between more goes with her hair she made some delicious cinnamon buns (extra) and I read board papers for tomorrow and tried to plan a trip around my birthday but the fact that everywhere’s already booked up and the pressure of work I’ll have on around then is making it hard to organise. Very frustrating spending hours.surfing websites but not making progress. Gave up and started on the ironing and final cleaning (whilst A continued with more attempts….colours becoming more alarming as she goes which is starting to panic her for work!).
Called Mt but he was isolating in bed with the virus…must have come from the children although they’re negative because he doesn’t go anywhere now he works from home. He has had a couple of days feeling poorly but just bad cold sort of symptoms. Later R texted…also has had a positive test (after being at supper with us on Tuesday).
In a break from what I’d usually cook I made Nigella’s fried chicken (with chips and coleslaw rather than in a sandwich) for supper. Bit scary juggling the hot oil for the frying but it was delicious!
