Laurel Memorial Wreath

The Belgian Memorial combines a laurel wreath and a memorial wreath to pay tribute to the people of New Zealand who defended Belgium's freedom and values during the First World War and later conflicts.

We passed this on our walk  to the hospital today to get him checked out. He "Checked Out" well and there is now only one last event later in Feb
This is a truly beautiful structure in our "War Memorial" area in Wellington that is circular and you walk around inside it. This was the view straight up with the iPhone on the ground and the self timer used to fire the shutter. (More than one time)!!!
