DAY 3..CANAL WALK

DATES STILL MUDDLED…THAT’LL TEACH ME FOR GETTING BEHIND!!

Tasty breakfast with produce from the local farm shop.
Then drove to Fenny Compton to start our canal walk. We planned on walking for an hour…stop for a read and then head back to the pub. We had a great walk and it was quite hot. Daisy loved the freedom and raced back and forth. The reflections in the canal were stunning. At the furthest point Daisy suddenly yelped and came limping back!!! I carried her on and off for the last mile or so. I was glad to sit down with a glass of wine at the pub after that !!
So for the rest of the day we were cottage bound…in front of the fire…playing cards and doing our holiday puzzle.
