New door

We managed to get the man to fit our new door last week.  It is super sealed and much less draughty than the old one... hurrah! 
We pruned a few lower branches off the oak tree and while doing that we got a few totally dead branches down too.. today was the day to pick up the wonderful dry kindling.. I am glad this is an option rather than a necessity.. I cannot imagine 'having' to survive by collecting wood in the winter to keep warm.  
The mens tennis match for the final of the Aussie open (Medvedev vs Nadal) was astonishing but took up rather a lot of our day!!
