Leicestershire’s Martinshaw Woods

Quick walk around Martinshaw. Never going to compare to Tentsmuir is it, after-all what other UK woodland or forest has such a beautiful beach with WW2 Polish history, concrete sea defences, dunes and heathlands right next door. Then again what other woodland features a major motorway scything right through it.
