Stretchy squirrels and redwings

Church this morning, lunch then a walk around Pilrig Park and along the Water of Leith. There were relatively few birds in evidence, though I did see a lovely wee wren as I approached the Water of Leith. Disappointingly I didn't manage to get a photo. I met a small family of squirrels in Pilrig Park, though, who were quite curious and lots of fun. I also spotted a couple of redwings (one in extra). I had just been thnking that I hadn't seen any redwings this year, when a couple appeared in front of me! Lovely.
