My Bodhran

Another one of my musical instruments ... a Bodhran. The Bodhran is a drum of Irish origin. One side of the drum has goatskin on it (other materials are sometimes used). That's what you see on the picture. You hit the goat skin with a beater (also called tipper). Your other hand presses the skin on the other side to get different pitch and timbre. Here is a very short demo. I mainly play Bodhran with Bearsden Fiddlers.
