Wait while I catch it...

Though people think that Poodles are silly lap dogs they are actually highly intelligent hunting dogs. This little fella is most happy digging out rodents from the grass, or chasing things in the undergrowth... As I said he's caught two rabbits at the Hippodrome already and probably the tail of a third...

As you can see here, he has found an interesting smell in the grass and is intent of getting to the bottom of it. He often comes back with black feet which means a trip to the sink for a quick wash... At least he's the smallest sized version, I think it would be a bit harder to clean a standard Poodle in the same way...!
