Between Storms

We seem to be just on the Southern edge of the weather warning area, but it looks like we could revert to the unpleasant conditions tomorrow. That seemed like a particularly good reason to go out for a walk. The horse pastures had plenty of Woodpigeons, Crows, and Rooks (the blip) feeding in them, and a Kestrel hovered overhead. As I returned I saw what I thought where Starlings on some distant telegraph wires. Something prompted me to get a shot, and I'm glad I did, as when I zoomed in and removed the shadow, I could see that they were Fieldfare.
