At home: Fiery Freddie! x

Mum and Dad have been in the full flow of the action round here. So much so, that when there is an opportunity for a sit down and a cuppa, they are quick to have a quick nod in the armchair.

I managed to grab Dad before he disappeared in to the Land of Nod for some work in the garden. We lit the bonfire and quickly piled up the tinder on top. The cold wind pushed the smoke across the back field, which is unusual since it always blows it into the house. The fire took quickly, the breeze pushed it through the bonfire quickly! So much so, that the bonfire was a smokey mound before we headed indoors.

Dad didn't manage another nod, the children piled in and piled on top. He got an early night instead, with the cat laid on top of him in bed! x
