Weymouth 0 Aldershot 1

Cracking day out which started off with me picking up Iain, the County fan (Ross County) and meeting Bill from the Midlands, Tim, John and Joe for lunch.  Pete joined us as he was sitting on his own and we watched Iain's team on the TV picking up an unlikely point against Rangers before heading into the ground.  About 500 Shots fans had made the journey (that's about a third of the number of home fans that we get!)

Weymouth were on top in the first half and could have gone into the break 2-0 up if they had a striker playing.  Shots came out better in the second half and looked the team more likely to score.  As we took the game to Weymouth they struggled to cope with our fast passing game and had to resort to hacking our players down.  Four yellow cards for four nasty tackles on the edge of the penalty area and the fourth one, in the 94th minute of the game was the best, coming in behind the defence and coming off the knee of the defender who had conceded the free kick.  Not the most convincing of victories, but a welcome three points and we can now start looking up the league table instead of looking at the relegation positions.  Com on the Shots!
