Canal Rocks.........

........late afternoon on a beautiful day. 
We've had extremely strong winds from the SE which has kept the temperature down thank goodness.

I spent the morning at our daughter's, helping with the back to school preparations. I raised the hem on Elsie's new school dress (it's a size 12 Ninny!) and helped Hugh mark his pencils and exercise books. All good fun. School is back tomorrow after 6 weeks. Hear the parents heave a collective sigh of relief ;-)

Oh - it's now official - the meerkat gets carsick! Bleugh - we took her with us this afternoon after I'd fed her. She has always drooled copiously in the car but this afternoon - spew! Gross! I guess we willl have to enquire about carsick drugs for dogs because this house is 3 hours away from the other house . Problematic...................
