Mushroom polenta

Ivy has better breakfasts than I do.  I fed her and then we all went out to breakfast before I caught the train home in time to make a veggie lunchtime soup. 

Managed a post lunch walk and got my steps back up after a poor step count week lounging around hotels in Dubai. 

Watched Belfast after dinner, Kenneth Branagh’s fantastic film about his childhood.  The child is remarkable and there is a joy in his life during the Troubles which mainly comes from family life .  Lots of turns from actors who are part of Branagh’s company but for me the grandparents, Judi Dench and Ciaran Hinds were the biggest joy. I’ve worked with her but have always wanted to work with him.
