The fish hook

Yesterday was quite a warm day (13°C). Despite that l did not go out much as l was organising family photos on the bedroom wall. At the end of the day, as l sat down for a glass of wine, l found my blip photo - this is a glass mat with a little Maori symbol embedded in one corner. The carving is a fish hook which signifies prosperity.

I received a message from the Covic 19 tracing app saying l had been in contact with a person who tested positive for Covid last Thursday, l filled in all the relevant details and was told no need to isolate. In a couple of weeks time even if we test positive we will not have to isolate - from the sublime to the ridiculous.
