Sevenhill
St Aloysius’ Church in the Clare Valley of South Australia was established by Jesuits in the 1850s. The also built a school, and a winery to make sacramental wine. They called the place Sevenhill, after the hills of Rome.
These days they also make quality commercial wine, and have an impressive tasting room. We were their first customers this morning - see extra. We seem to be taking it very seriously, maybe a little influenced by the ecclesiastical atmosphere and the Abbot looking over our shoulders.
