I would be tempted to think this sheen on the puddles on our road is due to a petrol spill. Except that I think I remember being told that it is due to iron bacteria and quite harmless.

This of course has absolutely nothing to do with Ash Barty’s triumph yesterday at the Australian Open. Nevertheless, Go Ash!
