Laser Sunset

We drove up to our friends' place in Mid Michigan this morning.  It was a cloudy day and we had smooth sailing on the roads.  It is supposed to be quite cold with no snow for the next couple of days so I was excited to be able to step out the back door and get a snap of this beautiful sunset tonight.  The sun broke through the clouds just before we were about to sit down for dinner and the spectacle only lasted for a short time
