Gorgeous
I was up before sunrise this morning and had the joy of seeing this glorious process unfold. I took many photos, but this one of Mount Rainier seemed the best to blip. I didn't get much sleep last night, but I got this amazing sight.
A quiet day here, spent time reading the extensive booklet I was given about breast cancer surgery (these folks are thorough!) and did a grocery order. I'd thought I wouldn't be able to get it until tomorrow, but the delivery came in less than an hour; I'd run out of a lot of basics like eggs and bread so was glad to have it so soon.
I've been reflecting on my experience of yesterday and am so grateful that the process of learning about the cancer, waiting for diagnosis, and getting a treatment plan went so relatively quickly. And having a companion for the visit when Lex was unable to come was such a boon. I feel that the gods are smiling on me now, and that's a rare thing. I so appreciate all the support you've given me through this time. In future I promise I will give you just the highlights and not inflict too much detail on you.
