Mouse in hiding

Last night Leela was chasing some poor mouse around the living room. It disappeared into the log pile in the fireplace and is now sporadically of interest to her as she wanders around the house. Experience suggests it doesn’t stand a chance of surviving more than a few days, but we’ll see. Today was mostly shopping and chores that needed to be dealt with. Tried to buy some new walking boots but couldn’t find any that I liked or that fitted well enough. I love my current boots for comfort but they seem to have sprung a leak. Still trying to fend off the latest in the run of ailments. Went for PCR test today because Zoe App told me to but don’t think I have Covid.
