Busy

A busy day of doing interviews for a volunteer project. I popped into my mum’s to pick up S who had spent the day with her and this is a photo of her dresser.

I’m still trying to find my “voice” on Blip. I haven’t said where I am but maybe I will at some point, it wouldn’t take much to figure out though. There’s no such thing as anonymity on an island! I’m also not sure how to refer to my husband and daughter as those words sound so formal. They share the same initials so I’ll have a think. I have a strange relationship with privacy and social media. I feel quite strongly that people who don’t have the capacity to choose should be protected from having their identity revealed on the internet, especially children. My husband has a virtually invisible digital footprint and doesn’t use any social media or a smart phone, so I have to respect his privacy too. My own boundaries are more fluid when it comes to my identity and who I am in the real world vs social media, but it’s something I think about often and am careful when navigating.
