Willow Weaving

Despite the very windy weather a few volunteers turned out this morning to build a willow bower in one of the woodland gardens. Because 2022 is the year of stories https://www.visitscotland.com/about/themed-years/stories/ the idea is that there will be space in this structure to sit on a living grass seat and tell or listen to stories. This isn't a great photograph I know but it's a record of something interesting and creative and it shows the blue winter sky. Despite the wind (which has done quite a bit of damage) it's sunny and, at 11°, very mild.

Thanks for all the concern about Flora's sore leg. She seems fine now which has saved a trip to the vet.
