‘As if we were on holiday’ day

Beautiful sunshine today so we breakfasted out at the garden centre (sitting outside was a bit nippy!)then we headed to Arne, the RSPB reserve by Pool harbour. It was stunning. There was a little mist around when we first got there but that soon got burnt off by the sun. The sunshine brought the winter colours to life and we had a fantastic walk round.
We had brought a picnic lunch out with us so had plenty of time then to go to Blue Pool which again was so lovely. Coffee and cake sitting in the sunshine also went down rather well.
At the end of the day we both said it was just the sort of day we would enjoy if we were on holiday! The only difference being at the end of the day we had to deliver a couple of emergency food parcels to people from Foodbank.
