Mossy bark

Rather a paltry blip offering tonight. Yesterday provided a multitude of blip opportunities and what a shame they can't be bottled to post subsequently. Although the weather is slowly improving, the local landscape is still so barren & still awaiting the spring flowers to blossom. These trees sit down by the river in a wee sandy inlet and provide a sheltered den. This particular tree has split in two and I was attracted to the bark on the tree & the green moss. I'm not sure that either are all that well illustrated in this shot. Hope you've had a great weekend.
