Winter jasmine

Finally got the sewing machine out of the cupboard to continue making the bedroom curtains. Unfortunately, the only surface anywhere near big enough to work on is our kitchen table, and the kitchen is quite cramped, so  all the sewing gear has to be moved out while we're cooking or eating. Still lots more to do.

Out in the 'yard the winter jasmine is flowering. It seems that Storm Malik is one the way, bringing high winds likely to cause damage to buildings,  "disruption to road, rail, air and ferry transport" and possibly power cuts according to the Met Office. And there's another storm hot on the heels of Malik. Oh joy! Not! Hoping that the jasmine flowers will still be there on Monday...
