City sunset

It has been a brilliant day. After a late breakfast we took the bus to the Sir John Soane Museum and then afterwards crossed the square to visit the Hunterian Museum. They are world's apart for content but both are fantastic. After a break for coffees we walked down to Sommerset House before crossing the river to walk along the Southbank. It was perfect weather and we stopped at a watercolour show and the Tate Modern before crossing over to St. Pauls. We had a lovely dinner and then went to the top of One New Change to see the sun set over the dome of the cathedral. It was so nice to feel the warm of the late evening sunshine and we walked home via the Guildhall and stumbled across the filming of The Muppets. It has been such a relaxing day and we all crashed out when we got home and watched a film.
