Birch barcode

I’ve taken several photos of tree trunks that I have thought looked like a barcode. On Winterwatch on BBC2 earlier in the week, writer Robert Macfarlane described silver birches in moonlight as “a barcode that scans for wonder” which I wanted to remember. So thought these birches by the loop line would be a good blip (though by gloomy clouds rather than moonlight!).

Also just received grades from my last university assignment - very pleased with 70%, particularly as I’d found this module particularly challenging. Briefing for the final module (major project/thesis) on Tuesday.
