Lozarhythm of the Day:
Carole King - Goin' Back (recorded 1979)
This Goffin-King song has been recorded by many people - The Byrds, Dusty Springfield, Goldie (no, not that one) and the Pretenders, to name a few, but Carole King's original demo remained unheard. She apparently cried when she first heard Dusty Springfield's interpretation. This later recording was released on Pearls: Songs Of Goffin And King  in 1980. I was looking for a "Going Back" link and liked this version that I had never heard before.
