50 Shades of teeth
Well, not quite 50!
A full diary at work today, with a Zoom whitening treatment booked in after lunch.
This is a good treatment to do as I get to chill for the best part of an hour while the led lamp and whitening gel do their thing.
We always take a shade before and after, to show the changes. Usually (though not guaranteed) teeth can go up to 6 shades lighter in that hour but the in house whitening still only takes the teeth to 50-60% of the final shade. The home whitening kit does the rest.
Our shade guide is categorised A-D and 1-4, with B1 being the lightest. Due to the trend for extreme teeth whiteness (I’m looking at you Simon Cowell!!), we now also have 4 ‘bleached’ shades that are even whiter than B.
Everyone’s teeth are different, very few lucky people have naturally white teeth, most have a yellow or grey hue.
I’ve had my teeth whitened but always think they look yellow; in fact, (I just checked, lol) they’re one of the bleached shades! :-0
