Another Porty Dook
This is LeeAnne as she stopped shivering in the Beach House after our dook in the sea.
Unbelievably the tide was in and the sea temperature was 6.7°which is the highest January temperature in Porty since 2007. Not that it felt particularly warm because there was a nippy breeze circulating round our nether regions when they were bared in their cozzies, but we did manage 10 minutes of immersion without ill effect.
Because LeeAnne is elsewhere for the next month we will not be bobbing together again on a Friday until March.
It was particularly grey day but there were at least 2 rowing boats out on the waves and many people and even more dogs running about on the sand , all before 9:30am.
With a notice of £600 credit from my now defunct energy firm, I feel I can luxuriate this afternoon with the heating on and have a lazy afternoon with my book.
