the putrid steamy heat of the last week is slowly morphing into a reasonable and manageable Summery weekend, the caveats being vast inland floods, and chaotic rain and thunderstorms still playing out in Victoria. My upstairs work kitchen was almost a no-go zone - all hail to the legacies of standard 50's suburban bank architecture in a corrosive salt air ridden beachside setting.
