A Little Abstract, If You Ask Me
This is my entry for abstract Thursday. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting and the theme of “mundane abstract”; making an abstract of something common at hand.
Oh it was a sensational weather day, which helped motivate me to get up and out. I started out at the deli (surprise) where I ran into breakfast lunch buddy. The mornings have been frigid so we’ve been getting there later than usual. There wasn’t much time to eat because my friend needed help to pick up her car. From there, we went to Dairy Queen.
Then it was time to do a few things I had been putting off. I stopped at Sprouts and bought some wonderful multigrain bread. It’s not available on the shelves, but if you know who to ask…
The last task was to go to the post office. I finally mailed Christmas presents to Albuquerque and Reno brothers.
When I got home a woman stopped to tell me how much she enjoyed the HOA newsletter. She called me by name, but I had no idea who she was. MYSTERY NEIGHBOR!!! Fun!
Now I’m doing some laundry, will empty the dishwasher and make some egg salad to go with that bread before settling in for the evening.
