Fly-Past at Linlithgow Loch

The usual large numbers of water birds enjoyed Linlithgow Loch today with the swans taking centre stage and parading their plumage as expected and to the delight of all. In fact, a little further along the lochside and away from the madding crowd I enjoyed the company of one of the swans by the water's edge preening itself with no concern over my presence. It was blipping great to quietly sit snapping away and I must have left with at least 20 decent images.

Nevertheless, during my one to one with the swan I managed to capture this action shot which I can't resist blipping.
